Packing list

If you’re planning a day or several days on a bike, there are a few things to keep in mind. The following packing list for our bike tours is our recommendation for your Bliesgau bike tour. How much of each item you’ll need depends on the type and length of your bike tour. Have fun browsing and cycling!

  • Drinks: plenty of water or sparkling fruit drinks

    Food: Granola bars are convenient, and fruit makes for a quick snack on the go

  • Bicycle map, smartphone with the Saarland Tours app

    Cash, ID card, emergency numbers

    Bicycle helmet, saddle bag, bike lock, speedometer, bike computer, and charging cable for the e-bike battery

    Hair ties, tissues, small travel towels (e.g., to dry your feet and arms after using a Kneipp facility)

    Pocket knife, small tools, repair kit, air pump

  • First-aid kit, pain relievers, band-aids

    Insect repellent, tick card or tweezers

    Sunscreen

    Blister plasters and blister prevention stick

    Personal medications as needed (for diabetics, people with allergies, etc.)

  • Shower gel, shampoo, deodorant

    After-shave lotion, sports cream

    Hairbrush, comb

    Biodegradable soap, laundry detergent

    Microfiber towel, pajamas, toothbrush, toothpaste, and razor

    Sewing kit, earplugs, safety pins

    Headlamp or flashlight, batteries
