The Bliessteig trail winds through the diverse landscape of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve across nine outstanding stages.Ten stamp stations along the entire route invite hikers to commemorate their special hiking experiences. Those who collect all the stamps can look forward to a little surprise.The Bliessteig Hiking Pass offers the opportunity to mark each stage with a stamp, creating lasting memories of your discovery of the Bliesgau.

Die Stempelstellen im Bliesgau sind zehn fest installierte kleine Boxen entlang des Bliesteigs, an denen Wanderer ihre Bliesgau Wanderpässe mit einem individuellen Stempel mit Bliessteig-Logo versehen können.

The ten stamp stations are located at the end of each stage of the Bliessteig trail, right next to the stage signs. They are positioned so that each stage can be documented with a stamp in the hiking passport.

There are ten stamp stations along the Bliessteig trail. At each station, there is a small wooden box containing a stamp and a stamp pad. The stamp can be applied to the appropriate spot in your personal hiking passport, similar to a pilgrim’s passport.

The Bliessteig Hiking Pass is available on-site at the tourist information offices of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve as well as at Saarpfalz-Touristik, and can be ordered online through our brochure shop for delivery directly to your home.

The hiking pass and the stamp collection along the Bliessteig are free of charge.

The stamp collection system encourages you to savor every step of the journey and capture memories of your hike along Germany’s Most Beautiful Hiking Trail 2025. Once you’ve collected all the stamps, a special surprise awaits you as a thank-you gift.

The surprise can be picked up in person at the tourist information offices of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve or at Saarpfalz-Touristik.

Digital hiking pin
If you’re hiking the Bliessteig and aiming to earn the coveted hiking pin, you can now collect your stamps digitally. In partnership with SummitLynx, we offer a modern and convenient way to track your progress and easily document the stamp locations along the Bliessteig using your smartphone—automatically via GPS, securely stored, and accessible at any time.
Whether you prefer the traditional stamp booklet or the digital app—the choice is yours. You can collect the stamps directly in our Bliesgau Pfadfinder app. Download the app and collect your stamps along the Bliessteig at your own leisure. And best of all: the traditional and digital methods aren’t mutually exclusive—if you’d like, you can simply collect both.
Of course, just like with the stamp booklet, there’s also a little surprise waiting for you at our tourist information offices in the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve and at Saarpfalz-Touristik when you collect the digital hiking pin.
