From the start, in the forest, past a small pond and just finding your peace, that is what makes this forest walk starting from the Arbeitskammer in Kirkel special.
A sunny walk in the forest - just relax and enjoy! In the forest, you can wonderfully unwind and perceive your surroundings with all your senses. Since spring 2023, there are also some hammock spots on the marked trees. You can borrow the associated hammocks from the staff at the Arbeitskammer for a rental fee of 20 euros.

The Arbeitskammer stands for education in a green environment.
Guests have at their disposal 69 tastefully and modernly furnished single rooms and six double rooms. Our house is barrier-free and has two specially equipped rooms for severely disabled people. Thus, the Kirkel Educational Center today presents itself not only as a modern training venue in a green setting, offering optimal further training opportunities, but also as a conference and cultural center.

The circular hiking trail starts at the educational center of the Arbeitskammer in Kirkel. The walking path leads around the building. The route continues straight past a small lake of the Flora-Fauna-Habitat area Krötenbruch. At km 3.7, we pass the other side of the small lake, and then the path continues through the forest back to the Arbeitskammer.

All quality trails are circular routes that can be walked in both directions. Therefore, the signage is in both directions. Walk the route the other way around once, and you will discover completely new perspectives and different viewpoints.
