Hiking trail marking Bliessteig
The third stage of the Bliessteig is around 15 km, making it one of the longest and most varied. In addition to numerous forest sections where narrow paths and wide trails alternate, the route also passes through fields with beautiful meadow flowers.
Once on the ridge, you can enjoy the typical landscape of the Bliesgau: gentle hills, orchards and even orchids in spring. At the halfway point, a paddle basin in Ballweiler invites you to a refreshing cool down.
The Bliessteig was awarded Germany's most beautiful hiking trail in the multi-day routes category by the renowned Wandermagazin in 2025.
