From harvesting the fruit to labelling the jars, everything is in her hands. Caro has many single-variety jams that are always in demand. These include classics such as raspberry, blackberry or plum jam and "Lattwersch", which is also popular beyond the borders of Bliesgau. She also has less common varieties in her programme, such as elderberry and quince jelly.
But Caro also likes to put together her own compositions, whereby she makes sure that the ingredients are predominantly local, e.g. strawberry jam with lemon balm. Most of the fruit comes from the gardens and orchards of family members or friends and acquaintances in the organic nature reserve. Caro's products are always available in the Werth butcher's shop in Blieskastel-Breitfurt, which means they are always "while stocks last" as they are seasonal ingredients.
Caro can also be found at the biosphere and larger country markets in the region.
