The hiking route "Into the Frohnsbach Valley" is a cozy, shaded circular hiking route that mostly leads through the forest—a perfect break in nature, especially on warm days. The Griesweiher and the Sägeweiher invite you to rest. Those who prefer a hearty meal are well accommodated in the beer garden of the Triebscheider Hof and the Fischerhütte at the Griesweiher. Please always observe the opening hours here! The route has only two slight inclines and is therefore suitable for families with children. Those wanting to extend the route can hike towards the Würzbacher Weiher or towards the Geistkircher Hof.
A detour to the Geistkircher Chapel is worthwhile: The Geistkircher Chapel was built in 1901 and served as the house chapel of the neighboring farm. The chapel was not always in the same location. With the construction of the current railway line, the old chapel had to be demolished and was rebuilt in the same year from the rubble stones and timber of the old chapel. It still serves as a pilgrimage chapel and can be visited. In the adjacent farm shop of the Geistkircher Hof, managed by the Beck family, you can find a variety of homemade products, such as numerous sausage and meat specialties from cattle that graze on the meadows in the Geißbachtal during summer and are kept in a spacious barn with warm straw bedding during winter. Products from partner farms are also offered in the farm shop.

Wegbeschreibung
The starting point of this hike is the Fröschenpfuhl hiking car park. From there, the route leads to the right into the forest and after some time turns right into the so-called Frohnsbach Valley towards the Sägeweiher. After the Sägeweiher, the path always stays to the right and reaches the Triebscheider Hof after a long curve. Here you can view many breeding horses, and the beer garden invites you to linger. Please always observe the opening hours on their website! On the descent after the Triebscheider Hof (Poststeig), the path goes through an underpass under the railway tracks. The path does not run directly along the railway tracks! Then the path leads to the Greisweiher and the Fischerhütte and then along the L111, always keeping right, back to Fröschenpfuhl.

Basically, entering the forest and walking on the hiking trails is at your own risk.
Seasonally and weather-dependent, increased sure-footedness is required on certain sections of the trails.
Please wear clothing and hiking shoes with appropriate soles suited to the season and weather conditions.
Please especially note:
Walk carefully on constructed stairs in the forest (they may be slippery due to falling leaves).
Near the Poststeig (before the ascent to Triebscheider Hof), the path goes through an underpass under the railway tracks. The path does not lead directly alongside the railway tracks!
