A lovely route for all who love wells! A route with continuously changing views over the wonderful cultural landscape of the Bliesgau, featuring the typical mosaic of orchards, forests, and small villages.
The well path passes by 16 fountain installations (e.g. Rohrental Fountain; Münchhausen Fountain or the Barbara Fountain), some of which offer benches for resting during the hike.

In Rubenheim, directly below the church, there is the definitely worth visiting Museum of Rural Everyday Culture and Saarland Superstition.
Even the museum building itself is worth seeing. It is the former Gasthaus Hepp, a farmhouse from the first half of the 18th century, a very beautiful example of a southwest German Einhaus.
The museum was opened in 1988 by Gunter Altenkirch. Countless exhibits deal with everyday life especially in the lower social classes such as small farming families of the 19th and 20th centuries, day laborers, craftsmen, and workers. It takes into account the entire Saar region and adjacent areas.
