From the beginning, in the forest, the walking path to the Frauenbrunnen leads on wider forest paths through the Buntsandstein area of Kirkel-Neuhäusel.
The path continues past the Unglücksfelsen to the Frauenbrunnen, a well-known, mystically appearing spring that probably already served the Celts as a cult site, a further reason why the Romans and knights once liked it here.

Wegbeschreibung
The walking path begins at the Naturfreundehaus in Kirkel. Soon the path leads to the mighty group of the Unglücksfelsen (accident rocks). According to legend, a rider is said to have fallen here, which does not seem impossible when looking at the rocks. For geology connoisseurs, the weathering effects may be of greater interest. They were formed by the erosion of the softer parts from the harder rock.
Further along the way, you reach the Frauenbrunnen, a well-known water source with a resting spot. From there, the walking path returns on wide paths back to the starting point, passing by Kirkeler Castle. A small detour is worthwhile!
