The start is the town center of Blieskastel-Webenheim. The best parking is behind the Martin Luther Church. From here, follow Wattweilerstraße and then turn into Straße des 13. Januars. After about 100 meters, the path turns left into Raiffeisenstraße. Now go left uphill. Passing below the Große Höhe (334m), the path leaves Buchenwaldhof on the right. From there, over the Hahnen (345m), past the Renkersberg with wind turbines, the path turns downhill to the right. Here the paved path ends and follows the clearly visible footpath.
