The Biosphere Ticket

With the Biosphere Ticket for the Saarpfalz District and the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve, you can reach your destination in a climate-friendly way at a particularly affordable price on weekends and holidays. For example, you can easily combine many highlights in the biosphere using the Biosphere Bus. You can purchase the Biosphere Ticket from the bus driver and at vlexx and Saarbahn ticket machines; starting June 14, it will also be available at DB ticket machines.

The ticket is valid in the Saarpfalz district and the municipality of Kleinblittersdorf. This means that the ticket also covers the area of the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve.
The Biosphere Ticket is valid on all bus and train routes in the Saarpfalz district and in the municipality of Kleinblittersdorf.
The group day pass is valid on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from midnight until the end of service.
With the Biosphere Ticket, up to 5 people can explore the Saarpfalz district. You are permitted to bring along 4 additional adults and 3 children under the age of 6. Each additional child counts as one person, regardless of age. Instead of one person, one dog may be brought along per ticket; a child’s ticket must be purchased for each additional dog.
The group day pass costs 9 euros.
