Bliesgau shelfs
Short distances – long-lasting enjoyment. On the Bliesgau shelf, you’ll find a wide selection of regional and seasonal products, as well as items produced right here in the region.
“From the region, for the region” is the motto of the Bliesgau Shelf. Many members of the Bliesgau Genuss e. V. association have come together to jointly market their products, such as Bliesgau apple juice, jams, sausage specialties, grains, honey, oils, vinegars, mustard, liqueurs, and schnapps. All products are made in our region. Many of the products also bear the Bioland, Demeter, or EU organic certification labels. The Bliesgau products can be found on shelves—specially crafted from local wood—in the relevant product sections of many stores. When you buy these products, you’re not only doing yourself a favor, but also supporting the Bliesgau Biosphere Reserve region: You’re contributing to the region’s economic growth and helping to reduce environmental impact thanks to short transport distances.
