Heimatquelle stands for fresh, hand-bottled spring water from the Bliesgau biosphere reserve. Bottling takes place on the move, directly at the source in the Blieskastel city forest. Heimatquelle is bottled by hand directly at the source, then labelled, stamped and given a freshness seal. The labels are printed with environmentally friendly wax ink and cut by hand. Ralf Meisel also handcrafts the elegant wooden closures from local beech wood.
As a trained water sommelier, Thomas Mück has made it his mission to sensitise people to the need to protect our most important foodstuff and our natural environment. In general, sustainability is a top priority: Because "water is the origin and basis of all life and it is man's responsibility to preserve all intact water landscapes in their original state."
