L'Amour on Tour: Bike Route

The bike tour begins in Peppenkum at the fire department. You leave Peppenkum via the "Mühlenweg" on the signposted "Bickenalbrunde" heading towards Altheim and turn right after 2 km onto a gravel field path that leads uphill. At the top, you meet the Bickenalbrunde again, which you follow to the right. Then continue on the little-used road towards Riesweiler, which you leave after about 750 m to the left towards the French border. Now the route follows the border before turning right downhill towards Utweiler. Shortly after entering the village, continue left on an asphalted field path again towards France. You meet the Bickenalbrunde again, which you follow to the left. You now pass through the French villages of Guiderkirch and Echring and cross the "green border" back into Germany. Shortly after crossing the border, you leave the Bickenalbrunde to the left through the forest towards the Baumbusch nature reserve. After crossing the country road, continue on the Velo-visavis bike route until you reach the road to Seyweiler. Follow this to the village center and there turn into "Fichtenweg," following it until it turns into an asphalted and paved field path. Now follow this path, crossing the country road between Medelsheim and Pinningen, back until after a short downhill you arrive again in Peppenkum.
